The Jason Roberts Foundation are delivering Accredited & Non-Accredited Training Courses in the Fall 2016
Please see information below for courses the Foundation is delivering in the fall 2016. Training courses will be delivered at the Pavilion Centre, NW10 8LW and Stonebridge Hub Community Centre, 6 Hillside, NW10 8BN – please note you have to sign up at least two weeks before the start of course date.
Please note Accredited Training Courses are designed for young people aged 16 to 24.

We provide a range of training courses to help participants develop and grow as a part of our community and sports programmes including both accredited and non – accredited training.

Introduction to Youth work
- The course will equip participants with the knowledge and skills to understand the ethos of youth work
- Give you an idea of the challenges young people face
- The aims and objectives of youth work
- Provide participants with different methods of delivery and an insight into how sport can be used as a tool to engage young people
Introduction to Employability skills
- Understanding the principles of communication and positive body language
- Communicating in a Practical Environment
- Improving Team Work Skills
- Developing Confidence and self esteem
FA Football Coaching level 1
- The England DNA – How We Coach, How We Play, How We Support and The Future Player
- Participants will gain a better understanding of the long-term development of players
- Help you construct appropriate sessions for coaching players
- A series of practical coaching ideas
VRQ Using Sports To Tackle Youth Crime
- Understand the contribution that sports based activities can make to challenging youth crime and anti-social behaviour
- Be able to plan, deliver and review a community-led sports based activity
- Understand how to support individuals participating in sports based activities
Equality and Diversity non-accredited course
- Understanding equalities and diversity issues
- Being a positive role model
- Challenging our own perceptions and assumptions
- Working from a position of enquiry
