Jamal Lowe scores a brace in Hampton & Richmond Borough's National League South win over Eastbourne Borough
Jamal Lowe scored a brace and played a helping hand in another as Hampton & Richmond Borough made it two wins out of two with a 3-1 victory over Eastbourne Borough in the National League South at the Beveree Stadium.
After going a goal behind to a penalty, Hampton were awarded one of their own when Jamal, 22, fed the ball to strike partner Nicke Kebamba inside the box who was fouled earning the Beavers a spot-kick. Tom Jelley held his nerve to equalise.
With the score level at 1-1 Jamal scored two minutes before half-time when a cross from the right wasn’t dealt with by the Eastbourne keeper allowing Jamal to cooly finish inside the box.
The former Barnet forward scored 15 goals for Hampton last season, and struck his second of the game on 81 minutes ensuring all three points as he latched onto a flick from Kebamba and cooly finished through the goalkeeper’s legs.Click here to stay up to date with AtTheMatch
