Jamal Lowe excited for Hampton & Richmond Borough's opening day trip to Bishop's Stortford
Jamal Lowe and Hampton & Richmond Borough will begin their return to the National League South with an opening day fixture away to Bishop’s Stortford on Saturday 6th August.
The Ryman Premier Division champions will travel to the Pro Kit UK Stadium looking to pick up where they left off last season, with Jamal a pivotal figure in Hampton’s attacking threat that scored 105 league goals in their 46 league matches, 17 of which were scored by Jamal, with a further 16 assisted by the former Barnet forward.
On the opening day clash against the Herfordshire side, the 21-year-old said:
“I'm excited for the first game of the season against Bishop’s Stortford. I’ve been looking forward to getting started again all summer.
“Being away for the first game will be fun against a solid team but hopefully we can get a good result to show that we're ready on our return to the league.
“Last year we had a great unbeaten run and we’ll look to bring that into this season but with the new signings and the players coming back faster and stronger I think we'll look to continue that into this season.”Click here to stay up to date with AtTheMatch
