Football Coach & Swaggarlicious CEO Manisha Tailor praises Jason Roberts Foundation work for young people
UEFA B Licensed coach and Swaggarlicious CEO Manisha Tailor has praised the work being done by the Jason Roberts Foundation with young people, after attending the Foundation's Celebration Dinner held at Wembley Hilton, opposite the iconic Wembley Stadium.
Manisha, who is also a qualified head-teacher, has worked in several London based primary schools for more than 10 years before embarking upon a career change in 2011 and said:
"It was an absolute pleasure to be at Jason Roberts Foundation dinner which highlighted the work being done to support young people within North West London and Grenada.
"What I particularly admire is the passion shown by Jason Roberts in wanting to help nurture and develop young people as 'people' and the emphasis on human values.
"As a former teacher, I know that this message cannot be understated as in developing these values, young people are developing life-skills that will help build their future.
"This is exactly what Jason and the foundation are about - through sport and a mentoring programme, they are equipping young people with the skills to aid them to lead better lives. I look forward to seeing the growth of tfe Foundation continue."
The Jason Roberts Foundation (JRF) held a Celebration Dinner to recognise all that it has achieved in becoming a key driving force for positive social change in the UK and Grenada. Following a very successful year, the Jason Roberts Foundation hosted their third dinner, amongst the Foundation’s supporters and friends.
In 2015, JRF engaged with more than 1,500 young people across London, Grenada, Bristol and Belfast, while also bringing a team to the Homeless World Cup in Amsterdam. JRF work with young people at risk of offending and homelessness, those excluded from school or struggling in the school curriculum, and young people with physical and learning difficulties.Click here to stay up to date with AtTheMatch
